What are industrial trucks?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Industrial trucks are also known as forklift trucks or industrial trucks. Industrial trucks are devices that are used to move loads from A to B. They are most commonly used in warehouses, construction sites, production facilities and logistics centres.<\/span><\/p>\n

What types of industrial trucks are there?<\/strong><\/h3>\n

There are many different types of industrial trucks that are used in different areas and situations. The following are among the most widely used AGVs.<\/span>

    Which industrial trucks are used in civil and structural engineering?<\/h2>\n

    Industrial trucks are also used in building construction and civil engineering. In building construction, industrial trucks are used to transport heavy building materials (e.g. concrete, bricks or steel) and for storage on construction sites.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    In the related field of civil engineering, on the other hand, industrial trucks are used to move bulk goods or to transport materials and tools from A to B.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    As there can be uneven terrain on construction sites, industrial trucks must be capable of travelling off-road. They must also have a high load capacity in order to be able to transport building materials, which can sometimes weigh several hundred kilos.<\/span><\/p>\n

    Where are industrial trucks used in recycling?<\/h2>\n

    Industrial trucks are also used in-house in recycling. In this area, they are primarily used for sorting and handling recyclable materials (e.g. metal, wood or plastic). Here, a high load-bearing capacity and resistance to heavy loads and abrasive materials are particularly important.<\/span><\/p>\n

    How do you find the right staff for industrial trucks in civil and structural engineering?<\/h2>\n

    Not every employee can and may operate an operational vehicle. As these are specialised vehicles, the drivers must be trained accordingly. More specifically, they must have a forklift licence. Only those who have a forklift licence (and possibly further qualifications for some specific devices) are allowed to operate an industrial truck.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

    However, many companies in Germany have the problem that they cannot find suitably trained staff. The shortage of skilled labour, which is prevalent throughout Germany and across all industries, is therefore also having a negative impact here.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
