Industrial trucks in building construction, civil engineering and recycling
As in many other areas, various industrial trucks are also used in building construction, civil engineering and recycling. Find out how to find the right personnel here!
What are industrial trucks?
Industrial trucks are also known as forklift trucks or industrial trucks. Industrial trucks are devices that are used to move loads from A to B. They are most commonly used in warehouses, construction sites, production facilities and logistics centres.
What types of industrial trucks are there?
There are many different types of industrial trucks that are used in different areas and situations. The following are among the most widely used AGVs.
- Forklift truck
- Order picking vehicles
- Tugboat
- Low lift truck
- Scissor lift truck
- Lifting devices
- Reach truck
- Container stacker
- Hand pallet truck
- High lift truck
Which industrial trucks are used in civil and structural engineering?
Industrial trucks are also used in building construction and civil engineering. In building construction, industrial trucks are used to transport heavy building materials (e.g. concrete, bricks or steel) and for storage on construction sites.
In the related field of civil engineering, on the other hand, industrial trucks are used to move bulk goods or to transport materials and tools from A to B.
As there can be uneven terrain on construction sites, industrial trucks must be capable of travelling off-road. They must also have a high load capacity in order to be able to transport building materials, which can sometimes weigh several hundred kilos.
Where are industrial trucks used in recycling?
Industrial trucks are also used in-house in recycling. In this area, they are primarily used for sorting and handling recyclable materials (e.g. metal, wood or plastic). Here, a high load-bearing capacity and resistance to heavy loads and abrasive materials are particularly important.
How do you find the right staff for industrial trucks in civil and structural engineering?
Not every employee can and may operate an FFZ. As these are specialised vehicles, the drivers must be trained accordingly. More specifically, they must have a forklift licence. Only those who have a forklift licence (and possibly further qualifications for some specific devices) are allowed to operate an industrial truck.
However, many companies in Germany have the problem that they cannot find suitably trained staff. The shortage of skilled labour, which is prevalent throughout Germany and across all industries, is therefore also having a negative impact here.
But there is a solution to quickly and easily find qualified specialists who have a forklift licence and can therefore operate industrial trucks in building construction, civil engineering or recycling. And this solution is called: temporary work!
Temporary work as a solution to the shortage of skilled labour in the construction industry
This model is also known as temporary employment or agency work. It involves taking on labour for a limited period of time. This means that they are not permanently employed by your own company, but are borrowed from another company for a certain period of time. And this is exactly what we have been doing for German companies in all sectors for many years!
We not only provide personnel for building construction and civil engineering, but can also help you find staff for all other sectors. From nursing and agriculture to the IT sector, catering, warehousing and logistics: we can find the right skilled workers for your company!
If you have any questions, please contact our team! We will answer all your questions - and can also send you an initial non-binding offer for temporary employment!
